Mattie, an Australian Shepherd, was adopted when she was 8 weeks old and has kept her owners running ever since. She is now almost 2 years old, and is VERY active. Her main behavioral issue is that she loves to protect her mom. In the past, if another dog even looked at her mom, Mattie becomes a growling, snarling beast. After working with Kari, Mattie has improved her social skills and learned that she doesn't need to protect her mom. She has completed both Basic Obedience 1 and 2, and her commands are absolutely beautiful. Hopefully, she'll be competing in obedience trials and agility soon. She has even learned how to play in daycare! The socialization and positive experience with other dogs has helped tremendously.
