Sam, a Miniature Australian Shepherd, just turned 2 years old. He was adopted from the DDFL over a year ago, and was perfectly behaved while at the shelter. However, once he came home, his owners realized that his behavior would be a constant challenge. Sam had separation anxiety, crate anxiety, mild dog aggression issues, and often 'marked' his territory in the house. He began working with Kari, who put him on a strict treatment plan that his parents had to follow, including crate, independence, and obedience training. Sam has gone over 6 months without a separation anxiety or marking symptom. He plays very well with other dogs at daycare, and his dog aggression issues have disappeared. He is a very well-adjusted beautiful little boy!
