Biggie: Rescue Dog Got Better and Learns to Leave Attack Mode

Dog Training Success Story Testimonial

We cannot thank Kari enough. When we reached out to her, we were at our wits end. We adopted our dog Biggie through the Humane Society where he was brought in as a stray, so we had no prior information on him. While we knew he had the ability to be a sweet dog, he had quite a few bad tendencies that were almost always “on”. He ate everything, he would attack me, he would growl and bark in our faces, he played too rough and we could not calm him down. He was always wreaking havoc. It got to the point where we couldn’t relax in our own home. Having Kari come to our house and show us how to train him and our other dog was eye-opening. The improvements were almost immediate. I remember after just one or two sessions, my husband and I saying, “We don’t want to jinx it, but I think Biggie’s getting better.” And he was! Truthfully, all we really wanted was to be able to coexist, and while we absolutely have that now, Kari also taught us so much about the proper way to train him by promoting and focusing on good behavior to improve not only our his actions, but also our bond with him. We still have work to do, but the difference from our first session to our last is remarkable. Kari is a wealth of knowledge on dog behavior and training – we recommend her to anyone who needs help with their canine family members!
